O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat map illustration

Created from a hand-drawn sketch and reference photos taken during a site visit, this vector park map illustration was designed to scale up without compromising quality. For tourists and visitors, the map illustration offers a comprehensive overview of the retreat’s features and details from a bird’s-eye perspective. This could only be achieved through illustration, as drone photography could not be utilised due to trees hiding the buildings. Attractions were highlighted to become a more focal point on the map, and distances were manipulated to frame everything into one cohesive poster.
