O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat map illustration

Created out of a hand-drawn sketch and reference photos taken on a site visit, this vector park map was created so that can be increased in size without losing quality. For tourists and visitors, the map shows all features and details that the retreat has to offer from a birds eye vantage point. This could only be achieved through illustration, as drone photography could not be utilised due to trees hiding the buildings. Attractions were highlighted to become more of a focal point on the map as well as distances manipulated to frame everything into one poster.
